How is a Crown Placed?
Your dentist may ask you to come visit the clinic at least two times in order to complete the crown. The first visit may include preparing the tooth for the crown. The crown needs enough space so as to not interfere with the bite of the upper and lower teeth. They will then provide a temporary dental crown while the permanent crown is being prepared in a lab. During the second visit, your dentist will apply the permanent dental crown.
